The shop is world class and stocked with an impressive selection of high quality inventory from some of the top body jewelry designers & manufacturers on the planet. Our vast Jewelry selection features something for everyone from solid gold to implant grade titanium with a well-stocked variety of decorative gem ends and rings featuring Swarovski to genuine stones and diamonds. The interior of JPT is comfortable and modern with a "sterilization" processing facility that is state of the art and Statim G4 equipped!
Just Passing Thru is a Licensed and regulated Body Art Facility with the Los Angeles Public Health Department. I personally am a registered Body Art Technician with Public Health and hold current training and certificates in Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid and CPR. Both autoclaves in the studio are enrolled in weekly professional spore testing with the University of Iowa Sterilizer Monitoring Program and I'm a proud Business Member of The Association of Professional Piercers (APP). JPT is one of the longest standing Piercing businesses in Southern California thanks to our wonderful clients and a name you've grown to know and trust.
We had quite a long run of 15 years in the Newhall location and relocated in the summer of 2009 due to the city's development of the downtown area. I also owned and operated JPT Laguna Beach from 1996-97, JPT Beaumont 2009-11, JPT Canyon Country (inside Eternal Art Tattoo) 2011 to 2017. In late 2017, JPT once again flows with the City of Santa Clarita's development plans as they acquire the Canyon Country property as part of a new community center.
Just Passing Thru's current shop location is proudly located in the heart of Santa Clarita Valley at the "Bouquet Junction" inside the Del Rio Center. The dynamic of this spacious 1,250 SF Piercing Studio has been a vision of mine for quite some time and I look forward to serving our awesome community here for years to come!

In early 1994 when I decided to pursue Body Piercing as a career I sought out the best education I could possibly find. I received my initial personal training from Steve Haworth in Phoenix, AZ. After my extended personal training with Steve, I returned from Arizona then immediately attended Fakir Musafar's week-long Body Piercing Intensive in San Francisco. With a headful of inspirational mechanics from Steve and a whirlwind of history and technique from Fakir and his legendary early staff of body modification pioneers, I ambitiously opened Just Passing Thru Body Piercing that Summer and have been a full-time Professional Piercer and owner/operator of JPT ever since.
The evolution of Just Passing Thru is built on the simple philosophy of "never stop learning" and only using the finest quality "everything".
The Jewelry selection is amazing and the cleanliness is unlike anything I have ever seen in a piercing studio.
I feel like I have found my piercing place and will definitely be coming back for any future piercings I decide to get! The customer service and cleanliness was so great and that's what really made my experience all the better!

Great service, straight to the point, clean, all tools are sterile, but the process takes about 15 mins, it was quick and easy with almost no pain.
I took my thirteen year old daughter here to get her ears pierced after having horrible experiences with mall piercing stores. This was the greatest experience and the owners are lovely.
